The fitting process
We normally recommend that you book your first fitting around 8 - 10 weeks before your wedding date. In your first fitting, we will discuss any work you’d like to have done, and pin and measure you in your dress. You will need to bring the shoes and underwear that you will wear with your dress to to all fittings. As all bridal work is bespoke, we will provide you with a price guide to give you an idea of cost. We will then time our work and let you know the final price ahead of your last fitting.

Your second fitting will be booked approximately 4 weeks later, when you will try the dress on again to check the alterations and look at any tweaks that maybe needed. It is sometimes necessary to book further fittings, depending on the alterations and the style of the dress, but we will discuss this with you as we go.

We also offer a consultation service, if you would like to discuss your alterations with us ahead of your first fitting. You can book an hour appointment to try on your dress and we can talk through any ideas and concerns you may have.

We can also cater for the rest of your bridal party, including bridesmaids, flower girls and the mother of the bride or groom.

The fitting process
First fittings tend to be held about 8 - 10 weeks before the wedding date. This can be combined with the bride’s appointment or as a separate booking. In some cases, we are able to give a fixed price for the alterations required during your first fitting. With more bespoke alterations, a price guide will be given and the work will be charged at an hourly rate.
Your second fitting will be booked approximately 4 weeks later, when you will try the dress on again to check the alterations and look at any tweaks that maybe needed. It is sometimes necessary to book further fittings, depending on the alterations and the style of the dress, but we will discuss this with you as we go.
